Dipole Antennas with Time-Varying Body and Shape

In this talk we introduce the concept of antenna body modulation. We show approximated theoretical formulas for effective resistance and reactance at the carrying frequency and discuss how antenna body modulation can affect them. Finally, we show how radiation resistance can be decreased keeping the reactance unchanged in the limit of small modulations.
