Near-time Optimal Control of a System with Quazistationary Switching Line

The paper focuses on the time-optimal and near-time optimal control of a system with quazistationary switching line. Near-time optimal control is realized by fuzzy logic or neural approximation of the optimal switching line. The processes in the near-time optimal systems are compared with these from optimal control system in cases of changing the object's and reference's parameters. In the case of a fuzzy model of the switching line, the change in the object's and reference's parameters had the least significant influence on the shape and duration of transient responses. The energy consumption of the systems is evaluated by the integrated square of the control action. The energy consumption in the time-optimal systems is smaller than these in the near-time optimal systems.
