Research on DPFC Capacity and Parameter Design Method

In this paper, a DPFC capacity and inductance capacitance parameter design method is proposed. Firstly, DPFC power flow control range is determined according to relevant project demonstration to design the capacity of series side device. Secondly, according to the relevant regulations to determine the 3rd harmonic range, and design the parallel side capacity; Then the inductance and direct current capacity of the series and parallel filter are designed from the requirements of filtering and voltage stabilization. Finally, a simulation system containing DPFC electromagnetic transient model is built on the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform. The simulation results show that DPFC can quickly and effectively regulate the power flow of the system, maintain the stability of capacitor voltage, and the capacity utilization rate can reach more than 70%.
