Study on the Performance of the Variable Step-Size LMS Algorithms

In this paper, the authors discussed the existing variable step-size adaptive filter algorithms firstly, and then classified and analyzed the performance of two typical variable step-size LMS algorithms. Based on which, the authors proposed shortcomings that are not mentioned in the conventional variable step-size LMS algorithm. At last, we provide the simulation results, which proved the correctness of the previous analysis.
