Research on UAS Safety and Security using System Thinking

This article, which gives the basic concepts, main steps, connotation and characteristics of the proposed analysis method, studies the safety and security of UAS by adopting systematic thinking and introducing STPA method. Focusing on the safety and security faced by the UAS, the overall security situation, the network security, and the carrier security issues in the UAS development and application are given. Two practical cases, STPA analysis of UAV aircraft automatic brakes and analysis and elimination of difficult faults in UAV aircraft flight control systems, are shown to indicate the practical significance of the proposed research and analysis ideas.
