On the Issue of Complex Automation of Mining Operations in the Diamond Mining Industry

The article discusses the basic principles of integrated automation of mining operations in the diamond mining industry, analyzes technical techniques, features of the technological process in the context of automation, modern technical solutions, as well as the main organizational and technical problems, the solution of which will contribute to the implementation of integrated automation systems at mining enterprises. Integrated automation of mining enterprises involves the introduction of centralized automatic control systems for all types of work: mine surveying, drilling and blasting operations, loading overburden and excavating minerals, transportation, crushing, sorting and crushing of minerals, as well as enrichment operations. As part of the analysis, it was revealed that today there are no technical and technological obstacles to the development and implementation of solutions for the integrated automation of mining enterprises, since in other areas of the industry solutions have already been found that are similar in complexity and nature of problems.
