Development of Software for Calculating the Level of Insolation at a Point with Specified Coordinates in Order to Optimize the Construction Site of Solar Power Plants

The problem of providing electricity to hard-to-reach areas is very relevant today. Expensive diesel fuel is replaced by renewable energy sources, one of which is solar energy. This article discusses the solution to the problem of optimizing the construction site of solar power plants. The required number of modules directly depends on the insolation at the point with the specified coordinates. The research is based on the development of software for calculating solar radiation at a given point. Solar radiation will be calculated for each hour, for each day during daylight hours, for a month, and for a year. Data on the arrival of solar radiation at a given receiving site is necessary to justify the parameters and modes of solar power plants operating in various power systems, as well as to determine the coordinates of the installation location of solar modules integrated into linear structures.
