Multichannel Synchronized Thermometer with Direct Counting of Pulses Thermosensitive Quartz Resonators

Solving research geophysical problems requires monitoring various quantities in real time at multiple points simultaneously. Measurement systems for these values differ in a number of features, in terms of their increased accuracy, requirements for autonomy and reliability in the field. Piezoresonance sensors based on quartz resonators that are sensitive to any physical value have been used for geophysical research for more than 50 years. Technological progress in the field of digital electronic components has changed the generally accepted approach to the design of measurement systems based on piezoresonance sensors. In particular, it became possible to directly count the pulses of quartz resonators by directly clocking microcontrollers from measuring quartz resonators. The low cost and low power consumption of microcontrollers allowed us to create a highly efficient technical solution.
