Research on a Stigmergy-driven & MAS-based Method of Modeling Intelligent System

In order to more preferably and adaptively solve problems in complex systems by using distributed intelligent system-based method rather than these conventional methods, a new method learning from human brain and biotic community for modeling distributed and decentralized multi-intelligent agent system is thus explored in this paper. Therefore, by analyzing ant colony's social & behavioral characteristics and learning brain cognitive and behavioral control mechanisms, an intelligent agent with stigmergy could be modeled and designed, and a more effective intelligent system could be constructed. Hence, a stigmergy-driven & MAS-based method of modeling intelligent system (SMMMIS) with multi-layer and decentralization architecture and operation & control mechanism, is proposed for planning & designing and/or automatically forming & constructing more effective intelligent system so that more and more complex problems can be more easily and flexibly adapted and solved. The experimental simulation results show that the intelligent agent and the SMMMIS are practicable for establishing intelligent and its complex applications.
