Development of the Recursive Convolutional CFS-PML for the Wave-Equation-Based Meshless Method

In this communication, the recursive convolutional complex frequency shifted perfectly matched layer (CFS-PML) absorbing boundary condition (ABC) is developed for the wave-equation-based meshless method. The numerical results show that the proposed CFS-PML can achieve an excellent absorption performance with the reflections less than -52.5 dB when the six layers of the PML are applied, and less than -57.3 dB when ten layers of the PML are applied (including operations with evanescent waves). The impacts of the CFS-PML parameters, shape parameter, and different node distribution types are also investigated. Such performances allow the use of the wave-equation-based meshless method for solving open problems.
