Multichannel Radio System Configuration in Conditions of Intensive Interferences

Mutual influence in multichannel radio systems leads to a spatial correlation of signals, interference, and noise. Spatially-concentrated virtual interference appears in the angular power spectrum. Their level largely depends on the degree of interchannel mutual influence. When intensive interference is applied to non-linear low-noise amplifiers, virtual intermodulation interference occurs in the frequency and spatial domains. The presence of spatially extended intermodulating interference at the input of a non-linear amplifier which occurs as a result of the radio system channels' mutual influence leads to the appearance of additional intermodulation interference at the output of a multichannel radio system. To cancel these phenomena it is proposed to configure the structure of the multichannel radio system based on the results of the signal-interference situation analysis.
