A Risk Evaluation of Password Management Strategies

This paper presents how to analyze risks of the password management quantitatively using a mathematical model. Passwords at online services are not always managed properly. There is growing concern about illegal access. We need to spread good security policies and raise awareness for those services users to manage passwords properly. To campaign effectively, we analyze risks of the security policies quantitatively.
