T-Junction Power Divider used $2\mathrm{x}2$ Printed Patch Antenna Array

The modern wireless communication system requires antennas with high gain, low profile and large bandwidth, which can provide improved performance with most of the frequency spectrum. These requirements can be easily fulfilled by using printed antenna array (also known as microstrip patch antenna). The printed patch antennas have comparatively low weight, low cost, conformability to any surface and ease of analysis and implementation. Also, it has the advantage of printed circuit board. In this paper, it illustrates the design and optimizing of a rectangular 2×2 printed patch antenna array which is designed to operate at 10GHz. The T-junction power divider is designed for loading the dapple integral parts with supporting layout. The printed antenna segments are implemented on Rodger Duroid 5880 substrate. It has a dielectric constant of 2.2 and 1.588mm solidity. The optimization and characteristics test of antenna is demonstrated with Ansoft High frequency structure simulator software.
