Impact of Contextual Error Correction Techniques in CLAMR

Hardware-based error detection and correction (EDAC) techniques are used to mitigate the impact of transient soft errors. In our prior work, we detailed an application-specific contextual correction technique that works to extend the capabilities of existing EDAC schemes to correct detectable but otherwise uncorrectable errors. In this work, we extend our prior work by investigating the impact that miscorrections have on a running hydrodynamics application.
