Dynamic model of a rotor on thrust foil bearings of microturbines included in distributed energy systems

The paper briefly describes the current state of distributed energy systems, which acts as a leading supplier of electric and thermal energy to small cities, towns and villages, industrial enterprises, livestock farms, etc. The main working unit of this type of systems is low-power microturbine installations. For these types of installations, the most critical and critical part is the rotor-bearing assembly. The article discusses a dynamic two-mass model of a rotor-bearing assembly including a rotor and a thrust paddle bearing. The masses of the rotor and elastic elements are taken into account in the model, and the simulation results are given for harmonic and pulse excitation.
