RFID Performance Evaluation in a Retail Store

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) became one of the essential enablers of the Internet of Things (IoT) concept. In retail store IoT has a lot to contribute in terms of management and supply optimization. This paper gives a preliminary analysis of RFID measurement study in a realistic retail environment. The aim of this contribution is to evaluate how well does the state-of-the-art RFID system behaves in a retail environment, and to summarize usage restrictions.
