Research and Analysis on Fault Diagnosis of Gas Insulated Switchgear

Gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) is an important equipment in a substation. Its fault diagnosis is the premise to ensure the rapid repair of the equipment and the economic operation of the substation. With the rapid development of GIS fault diagnosis research, various advanced technologies have emerged in recent years. In order to grasp the research status of GIS fault diagnosis and then provide reference for the follow-up research. The literature related to GIS fault diagnosis collected from CNKI and WOS and published in the last decade is analyzed by using a bibliometric software CiteSpace. It is found that the most research of GIS fault diagnosis in recent years focus on issue of partial discharge (PD) detection. Meanwhile it becomes an inevitable trend to use artificial intelligence detection methods in the detection and classification of PD according to the fault types.
