Time-Frequency Regularization for Impulse Response Estimation

This paper discusses the kernel regularization, which estimates the impulse response with a priori knowledge on the system. Although most of the existing kernel regularization methods are based on a priori knowledge in the time domain, the one in the frequency domain is also important and sometimes available. This paper combines both the time and frequency regularization and show that the identification accuracy is improved by this combination.
