Research on Improved DV-HOP Localization Algorithm Based on RSSI

This paper has carried out an in-depth study on the larger error existed in the average hop distance of unknown nodes in DV-HOP algorithm, corrected the average hop distance in the original algorithm by introducing beacon node localization error in this algorithm, and then introduced RSSI parameters to conduct the weighted calculation for the estimated value of each beacon node, an improved error control algorithm based on RSSI. The experiment result shows that the localization accuracy of the algorithm after improvement increases 6.45%~9.53%.
