Investigation of Artificial Cracks by Sweep Frequency Eddy Current Testing

The article deals with the utilization of the sweep frequency eddy current technique as an alternative method for material crack evaluation. The new eddy current probe is designed and presented. Experimental measurements are carried out to evaluate resolution of the probe while the harmonic signal is used for the excitation. The gained results are presented and discussed in the paper.
