IoT Using Raspberry PI and Apache Cassandra on PV Solar System

Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data are one of important and promising technologies that have attracted more attention today in industry. In this work is created a custom electronic circuit which can be used to get sensor's data, using Raspberry Pi IoT device on PV solar panel. Python programming language is used to write and run program in Raspberry Pi, and establish a connection to database for storing data. The main aim of this paper is to model an Apache Cassandra database for processing and storing massive amounts of data that come from sensors. As a case study is used a PV polycrystalline solar module of 250 W.
