The Strategy of Developing Sea-Rail Combined Transport in Trackless Container Ports

It is very difficult for ports without special rail lines to develop sea-rail combined transport. A number of trackless ports in the region jointly organize freight trains, which is conducive to the development of the advantages of sea-rail combined transport. In this paper, we propose a mixed integer programming model to optimize the scheme of freight trains. Through example analysis, the model can shorten the connecting time of port and station, reduce the comprehensive transportation cost, and promote the integrated development of ports and rail freight station.
