A Bacterial Foraging Algorithm for Layout Design of User Interfaces in Vehicle system

In this paper, the layout design of user interfaces in vehicle system is mainly solved. The goal is to find the layout with the highest screen occupancy. In order to simplify the model, this problem is regarded as a 2BP problem. Firstly, the concepts of layout point and layout space are proposed, and insertion is carried out by giving different ways of component arrangement. According to the given order of components, the layout points at the bottom left are selected first. But different insertion sorts have different results. In order to get the optimal solution, we propose a bacterial foraging algorithm to solve this problem. Through experimental verification, we find that this method can obtain large enough screen occupancy.
