Inset Fed J Slotted Microstrip Multiband Antenna for WiFi /LTE /WiMAX/ C Band/X Band/Ku Band Applications

An inset fed J slotted microstrip antenna (MSA) is projected and fabricated for WiFi, LTE, WiMAX and other applications. The resonating frequencies achieved by simulating the projected antenna through HFSS simulator are 5.6GHz, 7GHz, 8.1GHz, 8.9GHz, 10.5GHz, 12GHz, 13.4GHz, 15.3 GHz whereas resonating frequencies (i.e having minimum S11 in dB) achieved by measuring the fabricated projected antenna are 5.7575GHz, 7.9416GHz, 8.7462GHz, 10.2406 GHz, 11.8499GHz, 13.1143GHz, 14.1488GHz, 14.9535GHz. The achieved frequency bands may be suitable for WiIFi, LTE, WiMAX, C band, X band and Ku band applications. The achieved frequencies ranging from around 5GHz to around 5.9GHz are suitable for Wi-Fi, WiMAX & LTE-U applications since 5GHz band is considered as unlicensed spectrum.
