Hardware and software solution for measure the vertical jump in the basketball game

Sport is a social phenomenon with an explosive development in recent years. With this development also increased the value of professional athletes involved in this phenomenon. More than ever, in an attempt to keep up with the new requirements, coaches aim to improve athletes' performance by improving physical and mental qualities. Often monitoring the deadly performance of athletes is a big barge. The aims of present paper are to present a device to be used in measuring the vertical jump of basketball players.
