Development of Power Market Operation Simulation Platform

In order to help the operators on the grid side and the members on the generation side familiarize the the electricity market, this paper introduces the developed Power Market Operation Simulation Platform(PMOSP) and puts forward the design of the platform from three aspects, the development target of platform, the structure of platform and the key points of functional design. The platform applies the bidding agent to simulate the bidding of market members, the futures factor is added to research the power market transaction through simulation. Trainees can participate in the market simulation as a power generator or retailer, so as to make the trainees master the rules in the power market.
