A Two-step Island Partition Strategy of Active Distribution System

When a failure occurs in the distribution network containing distributed generations (DGs), island operation is a feasible way to maintain power supply and give full play to the power supply potential of DGs. In this paper, a flexible strategy for island partitioning is proposed in order to form a more reasonable and effective island. Firstly, taking the importance and controllability of loads into account, an optimal initial island partition scheme is acquired based on the Dijkstra algorithm. Then, an optimization model is established to adjust each initial island after conducting a feasibility check. Finally, the results of the case study verify the validity of the proposed method.
