Gamification in Cargo Delivery

Gamification in cargo delivery sector with a sample application and its results are investigated in this work. Monitoring cargo movements and accurate customer feedback are crucially important in cargo de-livery sector. Hence, delivery personnel have to enter necessary information after every step in the delivery process. The integrity of the data determines the quality of customer feedback. Gamification technology i s employed for timely and accurate data collection. Delivery personnel collects points when they enter accurate data and race against their fellows through a game. After 2 years of gamification, significant improvements are observed in customer satisfaction. In addition, it is observed that handheld terminals are replaced by Android OS mobil devices for data entrance.
