Abstract:

When the Method of Moments(MoM) is used to solve the surface integral equations, self-coupling terms involving the gradient of the scalar Green’s function need to be carefully treated. In this work, we attempt to derive closed-form expressions for singular integral in terms of Taylor series expansion. The analytical solutions for self-coupling terms with triangular domains are presented below. Compared with numerical solutions, this method is more accurate and efficient.
