Real Time Implementation of BCM functions and Analysing with CANoe

Automotive electronics is gaining prominence for its innovative and efficient way of driving the applications. This has made embedded systems, a fundamentally inevitable part of the vehicle architecture. Usually, real time verification of vehicle functioning is carried out in the industry. But for the development and understanding purpose, in depth analysis is required from the vehicle system perspective. To carry out such analysis, real time implementation with actual loads is necessary. In this regard, the entire range of vehicle Body Control Module (BCM) functions is targeted for implementation, for a variant of Car. But due to interdependency, some functions are not directly actuated by BCM but are routed through the intermediate module for actuation. Here Arduino Mega 2560 with MCP2515 standalone CAN controller is used as an intermediate module for driving actual load, for analysis Vector's CANoe 11.0 SP3 and VN1640A is used.
