Distribution Transformers – Automated Testing and Enhanced Data Usage

The real need for more time and costs efficient testing respectively testing of larger manufacturing lots becomes more and more important. Therefore, automated testing of distribution transformers provides an adequate solution in combination with optimized data evaluation and transfer into customer's enterprise resource planning systems (ERP). An overview of the functionality concerning the test and control technology required to fulfill the actual demands will be presented. Possibilities are shown and explained, how an optimization of the testing process can be achieved by the optimization of the interaction of the testing plant with an intelligent plant control up to an integration into customer's ERP systems.
