Experts Evaluation of a Pedagogical Game Design Document (Ped-GDD)

The application of gamification concepts is becoming a popular research area in many subjects. The application of gamification on a pedagogical aspect has shown a positive effect on motivation and learners' skills in current studies. This paper suggests a pedagogical gamification design lifecycle that involves teachers and game developers in a collaborative approach. This paper presents an example of a pedagogical gamification Design Document (Ped-GDD) which is used to structure the game requirements for a given lesson. The paper also, discusses the process of evaluating a pedagogical gamification Design Document (Ped-GDD) using elements of the Technology Acceptance model (TAM).
