A Note on Uncertainty Propagation for Availability Model of Mobile Cloud Computing Systems

Mobile cloud computing (MCC) is an emerging technology that integrates the cloud computing into the mobile environment, and overcomes obstacles such as processing capability, battery life, storage, and availability. This paper focuses on the epistemic uncertainty propagation of model parameters in an MCC. The uncertainty propagation is to estimate how much effect on estimation errors of model parameters in the system availability of the MCC is. Numerical results show remarkable effects of the uncertainty of model parameters on the system availability.
