E-Pandit: Automated Voice-Based System for Religious Puja’s

People outside and across the country hire the pandits for doing pooja. Rituals and customs are performed everywhere in the world and we require pandits. We need a system which can provide proper automation in this field as well. The objective of E-Pandit” is to handle the entire activity related to poojas. In this paper we have proposed a web-based application which provides all Indian religion videos based on religious pujas and description of the required samagri and user can interact with the video to control the actions by giving commands. This will avoid booking of pandits as well as minimize the cost for conducting puja. The system also enables users to view their daily horoscope and panchang anytime. The user needs to have one-time subscription with reasonable rates they could not deny on. The system is equipped with Speech recognition facility for user to control the functioning of the Video as well. The system can also help the users to interact with pandits through voice call and gain information or knowledge related to their religious aspects.
