Study on Elevator Absolute Positioning System Based on Magnetic Grid Ruler

The absolute positioning technology is introduced into the elevator field to construct the absolute positioning system (APS). The absolute positioning theory is studied, and then the absolute positioning technology based on magnetic head identification magnetic grid ruler is proposed. The absolute value elevator shaft information system replaces the original incremental encoder and shaft switch mode to establish the absolute coordinate system, and realizes the function of reading position information at any position. The non-contact information transmission mode between the magnetic head and the magnetic grid ruler is adopted. At the same time, the coordinate information is stored by EEPROM to ensure that the position information will not be lost when the APS is powered off. Furthermore, based on the APS, the elevator door area detection software is designed. Through the construction of the actual elevator, the APS and design logic are tested by the Function Application Testing Risk (FATR) test method approved by the elevator industry. The experimental results show that the APS can realize the transformation from coordinate to position information, and it makes the minimum unit of elevator coordinate system from "floor distance" to 1mm, realizes the accurate positioning of the floor, saves the cost of economy and manpower, overcomes some insurmountable problems that the traditional elevator cannot solve.
