Maximum Power Point Tracking in Photovoltaic System Using Indirect Adaptative Control

The production of power in photovoltaic systems depends on the solar cells temperature and the solar radiation. To improve the energy yield of the PV modules, it is indispensable, in order to follow the maximum power of the photovoltaic generator. The main idea of our work is to develop a new control approach based on indirect adaptive control strategy applied to PV system to ensure a good tracking of the setpoint and to obtain a maximum power, in spite of the appearance of different disturbances. The novelty in this approach exhibited by its simplicity and robustness. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and good performances of this method.
