Low SNR Wideband Signal Synthesis Algorithms for Multiple Antennas

In order to reduce the influence of the delay and phase inconsistency of the receiving channels of each antenna on the beamforming of wideband signals, a low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) wideband signal synthesis algorithm for multiple antennas is proposed. This method invokes channelization and divides the wideband signal into several sub-bands to perform phase compensation, thereby reducing the crucial requirement of delay estimation and compensation accuracy. The synthesis algorithm adopts all of the antenna data to jointly estimate the delay and phase of each antenna. It is proved with simulation experiments and hardware implementation that this proposed method significantly improves the accuracy of delay and phase estimation and the synthesis efficiency of low SNR wideband signals for multiple antennas.
