Emergency ground communications system using 802.11xx technology

The paper examined the conditions for providing reliable communications to the subunits in the emergency zone (EZ). Technical solutions based on the use of mobile telecommunications land nodes are proposed. The architecture that creates a flexible network with the use of equipment built on IEEE 802.11xx technology is considered. The results of the analysis of the organization of mobile communication based on IEEE 802.11xx standards in emergency conditions were approved on the basis of laboratory and field tests.
