Compact electrothermal model of an impulse transformer for SPICE

This paper proposes a compact electrothermal model of an impulse transformer dedicated for SPICE. The proposed model takes into account magnetic, thermal and electrical properties of the considered device. The network representation of the elaborated model and main equations describing this model are presented and discussed. Correctness of elaborated model is verified experimentally and some results of measurements and computations are shown and discussed.
