Analyzing the Students’ Attitude Towards a Real-Time Classroom Response System

Nowadays our daily life is pampered by the usage of smart devices, smart phones, laptops, smart household appliances, smart cars and even smart houses and towns. We are highly accustomed to them therefore, it is not so easy sometimes impossible- to involve students into a classical university learning process. Toinspire students, we implemented and started to use a real-time BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) CRS (Classroom Response System) called ELection to give them the chance to use their devices and be an active participant during the lectures. We use E-Lection to make the talks interactive. In this paper we analyze this experience focusing on the students' attitudes towards the system.
