Predictive Digital Current Programmed Control with Load Current Compensation for DC-DC Converters

In this paper new output capacitor current control technique for DC-DC converters is proposed basing on predictive digital current programmed control. The proposed technique does not require a very fast analog-to-digital converter and high-bandwidth voltage control loop to achieve good load transient response, and allows implementing digital capacitor current control using only one measurement per switching cycle without averaging filters.
