Air Flow Sensor Based on Environmental Sensor BME280

Solutions available on the market proposed to create a flow sensor based on a membrane-type pressure sensor. In this article, the work done as part of the development of a portable device for measuring air flow while breathing is discussed. The characteristics of air inhaled and exhaled by a person were experimentally obtained: flow rate, its temperature and humidity. Based on the results obtained, the possibility of using temperature, humidity and pressure sensor BME280 as a flow sensor was determined.
