On the Coordinated Development Mechanism of Rural Tourism Development and Ecological Environment Protection in the International Cultural Tourism Demonstration Area in Southern Anhui Province

There are rich rural tourism resources in Southern Anhui Province, including water tourism resources, ancient town tourism resources, opera tourism resources, etc. These tourism resources lead to the promoting of the economic development, labor employment and regional exchange in Southern Anhui Province. Since February 2014, the planning outline for the construction and development of the international cultural tourism demonstration in southern Anhui Province has been officially promulgated and implemented. It is proposed to build the zone into a world-class tourism destination and provide a demonstration for the construction of a beautiful China. The development of Wannan international cultural tourism demonstration area has entered a fast track. However, due to the rapid development of rural tourism in southern Anhui Province, a series of achievements have been made, and at the same time, problems related to ecological environment protection have gradually emerged. How to protect the ecological environment will become the key to promote the sustainable development of rural tourism in southern Anhui Province in the future.
