The 2019 IEEE-USA Annual Report: Engaging & Empowering Our Professional Community

Under the volunteer leadership of 2019 IEEE-USA President Tom Coughlin, in 2019, the IEEE-USA Board approved a series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo Moon Landing. The Board also funded the development and promotion of a series of short membership recruitment videos, featuring young professionals, to support a focused membership marketing campaign in partnership with the IEEE Computer and Power and Engineering Societies. This Annual Report documents IEEE-USA’s collective efforts to support U.S. IEEE members, advance the engineering profession, and serve the public interest, during the 2019 calendar year.
