Design and Adoption of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in Smart Classroom

Ubiquitous computing provides the powerful support to information exchange. Mobile devices have been the mainstream Internet access tools. They are portable and used as both the private purposes and business purposes. Personal mobile devices have been used in workplaces, which is called Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD). BYOD is also used in education. In this paper, we discussed on the new teaching/learning mode based on BYOD and provided a system design to support using BYOD in primary school. We also shared our experiences in the construction and showed the effect.
