Deployment method of power terminal edge control center based on cloud-edge cooperative mode

With the promotion of the Internet of Things (IOT) in the power system, the power system has higher requirements for the response delay and the reliability of the service of the power communication network. This paper proposes an edge control center deployment method based on the cloud-edge collaboration mode and under the background of the power communication network, which optimizes the existing deployment methods. This paper combines two factors of density and distance, and uses the idea of clustering to deploy edge control centers for power terminal access. Based on this method, a model of power terminal access is constructed. Compared to the deployment of edge control centers with D-K means clustering algorithm, the improved algorithm can make dense terminal access area obtain better signal quality, and alleviate the capacity load of dense terminal access area. Furthermore, the terminal system can realize the goals of load balancing, low delay, high efficiency, and full coverage.
