Research on Model Based Digital Definition of Complex Product

For the problems in the process of complex product design, such as complex structure, high manufacturing requirements for key parts, complex and scattered design information, and difficulties to ensure information consistency etc., a product design and manufacturing mode in a full three-dimensional environment is proposed. The product information is precisely defined by MBD technology, based on the establishment of digital spatial model, the content of MBD dataset and the information expression method of multi view are determined, making 3D model the only data source in the whole life cycle of product development. At the same time, the product and design process knowledge model and its associated model based on semantic network are constructed, which can better apply design knowledge to the process of product digital definition, realize the sharing and reuse of the knowledge, and improve the efficiency of product research and development.
