A Space-polarization Nulling Method for Multiple Mainlobe Interference

Since the adaptive beamforming (ADBF) will cause great distortion of mainlobe beam when there are multiple suppressed interferences in mainlobe, we propose a new method to generate the mainlobe interference null for polarimetric array radar in this paper. By interference cancellation, we propose a criterion which can realize two different ways of nulling in the mainlobe at the same time. The mainlobe distortion of the beam can be reduced while the effective interference suppression effect is guaranteed.
