Construction of Gaussian and Isotropic Channels Based on Electrically small dipole Arrays

This work presents an approach for constructing Gaussian and isotropic channels based on an array of electrically small dipoles. The channel is formulated as the total radiated field of the array referenced in both amplitude and phase at the center of a virtual spherical surface used for observation. Preliminary results with only one dipole show a channel shape changing from Gaussian to almost isotropic when the observation radius is ten times smaller than that of the source. Secondly the results of channel given the electrically small dipoles array are presented.
