Performance Analysis of Conical Dielectric Resonator Antenna with Various Feeding Techniques

The performance analysis of conical Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) with various feeding techniques is presented in this paper. To study the performance of the proposed conical DRA various parameters like, DR height, size of ground plane, upper and lower radius of conical structure are varied and the consequent results are tabulated. For all the feeding techniques, the proposed DRA resonates in the X-band (8-12 GHz) range and the peak gain obtained is above 6dBi.
